:: ZOMBIE SEE, ZOMBIE ♪ DOO BI DOO BI DOO ♫

"She's Not There" is the debut single by the British pop band The Zombies. Rolling Stone magazine ranked "She's Not There" #297 on their list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. One of the song's most distinctive features is Argent's electric piano sound; the instrument used was a Hohner Pianet. The backing vocals are in a folk-influenced close-harmony style. This minor key, jazz-tinged single was first aired in the United States during the first week in August 1964. The tune began to catch on in early fall and eventually reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

lyrics

Well no one told me about her the way she lied
Well no one told me about her how many people cried
But it's too late to say you're sorry
How would I know why should I care
Please don't bother tryin' to find her
She's not there

Well let me tell you 'bout the way she looked
The way she'd act and the colour of her hair
Her voice was soft and cool
Her eyes were clear and bright
But she's not there

Well no one told me about her, what could I do
Well no one told me about her, though they all knew
But it's too late to say you're sorry
How would I know, why should I care
Please don't bother tryin' to find her
She's not there

Well let me tell you 'bout the way she looked
The way she'd act and the colour of her hair
Her voice was soft and cool
Her eyes were clear and bright
But she's not there

------ electric piano ------

But it's too late to say you're sorry
How would I know, why should I care
Please don't bother tryin' to find her
She's not there

Well let me tell you 'bout the way she looked
The way she'd act and the colour of her hair
Her voice was soft and cool
Her eyes were clear and bright
But she's not there

Then we started listening to others & began to wonder ;)

4 Montreal seasoned musicians have their way with classics songs & bands of the 60's & 70's, then begin composing...

They decided to start small.
A mini rock opera about God & his minions...
